The Global Olive Oil Ranking “EVOOWR”
The global olive oil ranking “EVOOWR※” was announced on January 3, 2025.
Novavera Farm in Turkey, the only producer whose oil we import exclusively in Japan, ranked first in the world in the producer category, opening up a gap of over 1,600 points with the second-place producer.
In the world of olive oil, numerous “international competitions” are held every year in various countries and regions.
Our own Hiromi Nakamura also serves as a judge at several of these competitions.
At these competitions, the entered olive oils are strictly judged, and awards such as gold and silver awards, as well as special awards and scores, are given.
Selected as the World’s Best Olive Oil Producer in the 2024 Global EVOO Ranking! Novavera Farm’s success story, inspired by nature, was broadcast on Turkish NTV television.
As such, olive oil competitions are held by various organizations all over the world.
Winning an award at a single competition is no easy feat, but that alone does not make you the best in the world.
It is a title earned by consistently receiving high scores and maintaining an outstanding reputation without fail.
The title of “World’s Best” that Novavera Farm has now achieved is one reserved only for those who have consistently scored highly and maintained an outstanding reputation in numerous competitions.

Having served as a judge at international competitions, I can truly appreciate how remarkable this achievement is.

※EVOOWR is a non-profit global olive oil ranking.
It evaluates the combined results of 35 international olive oil competitions held around the world every year. Competitions must comply with the strict rules of the International Olive Council (IOC).
In the 2024 fiscal year, Novavera Farm won a total of 171 awards in 20 competitions.
